Visit PCG at SSP (Booth 205) and Move Your Content Forward

May 29, 2012

To celebrate this week’s Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) Annual Meeting, we wanted to share some exciting news from PCG and invite you to visit us at booth 205 to learn how we can help you increase your institutional sales and connect with your subscribers around the world.

We’ve been very busy over the past few months with new clients, new research and new international initiatives, and are pleased to announce that:

*** PCG has completed negotiations on a ground-breaking international consortium agreement on behalf of Bloomsbury Publishing to deliver the Churchill Archive to academic libraries in the US, UK and Canada. This unique multinational arrangement will offer discounted rates to 500+ members of the Center for Research Libraries (CRL), JISC Collections, and the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN).

*** PCG Latin America has continued its string of successes in the region by signing a new national site license agreement for the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) with CAPES in Brazil.

*** Once again, PCG has just released the results of our annual Library Budget Survey, a massive undertaking offering many insights into the recent (and future) trends for library budgets by region, sector, and institution type.

*** Publishing Technology and CNPIEC, the China National Publications Import and Export Corporation, are unveiling the Digital Gateway, the most significant digital publishing platform ever launched for Chinese libraries. As part of this initiative, PCG will be partnering with CNPIEC to promote, sell and distribute scholarly publishers’ content into the Chinese market.

*** PCG recently partnered with Ringgold to leverage our respective strengths in creating a new, high-impact sales service for publishers.

We look forward to seeing you at SSP.
